Children's Program
The Children’s Program provides free legal representation to immigrant children who have suffered from abuse, neglect, or violence, and conducts presentations and trainings for social workers, guardians ad litem, educators, parents, and students throughout the state.

We work to:

  • Provide immigration-related direct representation for the most vulnerable children in Colorado
  • Educate the community about the plight of abused, neglected and abandoned immigrant children, including potential child survivors of human trafficking
  • Develop a statewide network of assistance for immigrant children and the professionals that serve them
  • Create a better safety net for children who otherwise would fall through the cracks
  • Collaborate with national and statewide advocacy and social service agencies

To schedule an appointment with Ashley Harrington, Children's Program Managing Attorney, or Emily Brock, Children's Program Staff Attorney, please call RMIAN at (303) 433-2812.
