Advocacy and Education
RMIAN provides presentations to the community about immigration detention and children’s immigration issues. Every year, RMIAN’s staff members present to community organizations, student groups, religious organizations, government agencies, health providers, and individuals.

This program works to:

  • Generate community awareness of immigration detention and enforcement issues
  • Educate community members about the issues facing immigrant children
  • Advocate for reform of U.S. immigration laws and a more humane immigration system
  • Encourage volunteer involvement
